Certificate in Advanced Digital Imaging
October 2010 through June 2011
University of Washington Professional & Continuing Education, Seattle,

Tim Grey will teach two of the three courses (Fall and Winter) as
part of this certificate program in Advanced Digital Imaging. Classes
will meet three hours per week for a ten weeks per course, gaining a
mastering of a wide range of topics related to digital photography and
imaging, including color management, image organization, optimizing

Photo Tour with Arthur Morris

Tim Grey will once again co-lead an Instructional Photo Tour with
Canon Explorer of Light photographer Arthur Morris. This time the
location will be beautiful San Diego, California. Opportunities will
include brown pelicans in beautiful breeding plumage, wood and
ring-necked ducks, lesser scaup, a variety of gulls, marbled godwits,
and lots, lots more. Besides assisting with field photography, Tim Grey
will also present a variety of topics related to digital imaging, and

Palouse Digital Photography Workshop
June 18-24, 2011
Palouse Region, WA
The Palouse country of eastern Washington State presents great
opportunities to photographers: a sculpted landscape born of Pleistocene
glaciers, enormous old barns, and classic scenes of rural America. It’s
hard not to get outstanding shots in this area, but you’ll have two top
pro photographers to help you develop your shooting skills. One of the
biggest challenges for new and experienced photographers alike is how to
organize and prepare your images once you’ve returned from the field.
This workshop will spend approximately half of each day photographing
and the other half learning digital workflow techniques with the images
you’ve produced. Wolfgang Kaehler, BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year
award-winner, and noted author and photographer Tim Grey will lead this
workshop, intended to help you develop your skills both in the field and
